Education & Scholarships

PASP offers its members scholarships of up to 50% in collaboration with 12 educational institutions.

The Pancyprian Footballers’ Association offers you the opportunity, during your football career, to begin building a second professional career through PASP’s study programs and its partnerships with universities and colleges in Cyprus.

Scholarships – PASP Educational Programs since 2013

The idea of introducing educational programs at PASP and implementing this time-intensive initiative for the Association came from a clear need: to encourage our members, through scholarships, to broaden their academic ambitions and gain access to quality education. Our goal is to provide additional academic options for a second career, one that will secure their professional future beyond football, while promoting personal growth and professional development.

This program was not launched simply as another benefit for our members, but as a significant investment of value for both PASP and its members. We invest our effort, time, and determination in the future of our players, and our one non-negotiable expectation is that they, in turn, invest in themselves to create the conditions for a better future. We create opportunities for them, but it is up to each member to make proper use of these opportunities, walking this path with us until they graduate and can confidently follow their own career path.

A football career is short. Players must recognize this and prepare themselves before their football career ends. Life does not end at 35. Educate yourself for a better future!

PASP’s scholarship program for male and female footballers has been active since 2013, offering eligible members of the Association this invaluable opportunity. Players can receive scholarships at the educational institutions listed below, provided that their enrollment is arranged through PASP.

  • University of Nicosia
  • European University Cyprus
  • UCLan Cyprus
  • Frederick University
  • Neapolis University Pafos
  • Alexander College
  • CTL Eurocollege Limassol
  • Cyprus Institute of Marketing (CIM)
  • KES College
  • American University of Cyprus
  • UNICAF
  • Limassol University

Some of these institutions also offer scholarships to first-degree relatives of PASP members.

To obtain an academic scholarship, you must be a member of the Association, contact PASP before reaching out to the university you are interested in, and have either passed football evaluations or hold a professional contract.

Procedure

What is the procedure for a member to apply for a scholarship?

1

First and foremost, they must communicate directly with PASP and not with third parties, to ensure accurate information and proper procedure.

2

To be eligible to participate in the scholarship program of the Pancyprian Footballers’ Association (PASP), a footballer must meet certain criteria and fulfill specific obligations required of interested members.
