Based on Joanna’s adventure, as well as those of other footballers, our Union (PASP) wants to once again draw the attention of its members to be particularly careful when concluding agreements with clubs. Fortunately, Joanna thought of making a copy of her contract, which the club decided not to submit to the FA!
Her case highlights how exposed footballers can be when clubs violate their legal rights, ignoring their obligations arising from legislation. Furthermore, the latest FA circular on the minimum wage, which violates applicable legislation, brings to light a broader issue of unequal and illegal treatment, especially based on gender and league category.
