Important announcement for footballers of B’ Division!

After being contacted by members of our union playing in the Second Division, we would like to say the following:

  1. Those employment contracts which expire on 30/04/2022, cannot be extended without the players’ consent. This is written explicitly in art. 2.2 of the standard contract.
  2. In order for an extension to be legally valid, it must be in writing.
  3. The clubs or the Association cannot extend the duration of an employment contract without the consent of each player separately.
  4. Neither can a club ask a player to play after the expiry of his employment contract without any additional payments. Even if such an obligation is mentioned in a regulation of the Association, this regulation is not valid because no employee can be forced to work for a period longer than the one he agreed, without being paid for this period.
