Pancyprian Footballers Association (PASP) informs that FIFA has rejected the request of the Cyprus FA for the recognition of the CFA Tribunal National Dispute Resolution Committee (NDRC) as an independent and impartial committee that meets FIFA’s criteria. FIFA accepted the position of the PASP, which was supported by FIFPRO.
Foreigners (non Cypriot players) maintain their right to leave to the FIFA Football Tribunal in case of a dispute with a Cyprus club, even if their contracts state that the CFA Tribunal (NDRC) has exclusive jurisdiction.
